In March 2009, to mark the completion of 21 years of successful trading we were delighted to become a Corporate Partner of Tree Appeal, the environmental organisation that promotes and facilitates the planting of trees and the creation of wildlife habitats throughout the UK.  We launched our association by donating a large number of trees in the names of our customers who have supported us over the years.  We chose to support the Appeal’s ‘Trees for Schools’ initiative and all the broad leaf trees already donated are contributing to important environmental projects in 3 Primary schools in Birmingham, Hampshire and Merseyside. 

Timberley Primary School, Birmingham: 

Our trees are contributing to a wonderful project to create a wildlife area for the pupils, contributing to the teaching of the science curriculum at the school and helping the children in their appreciation of the environment.

Farleigh School, Hants: 

Farleigh School have used their trees to supplement mature woodlands on their grounds, keeping the habitat healthy with a mixture of old and young trees. The trees have been planted adjacent to the sports field, where they will be enjoyed by the school children and local community for years to come.

Woodfall Primary School, Merseyside: 

The trees have been planted around the perimeter of the grounds by the children themselves, as part of their Eco Club and curriculum activities, providing  habitat for mini beast investigations and shade in the years to come.

The concept of Tree Appeal is based upon making an environmental commitment integral to a company's business and we have embraced this fully by incorporating tree planting into our Container Leasing service !

For every 10 containers leased by our customers we will donate a tree !

This initiative complements very well the environmental benefits that our Container Leasing Service already offers:

Immediate access to a large stock of high quality, re-useable, museum standard containers of all types, styles & sizes,

 designed and manufactured for repetitive use. 

We believe this initiative also reinforces the sustainability of the service and helps to offset any new timber that we do use for new stock.    Kent Services has a long-held philosophy of providing economical and sustainable products and is committed to working for the long-term protection of the environment. We  hope our customers feel genuinely engaged with this exciting venture and we look forward to planting trees for a long time to come.
