CONTAINER LEASING SERVICE

 

The KSL Leasing Service is a customer friendly, cost effective and environmentally sound solution to the demand for Packing Cases to safely protect Art Objects being loaned from Museums, Galleries and Private Collections. 

Kent Services owns and manages a very large quantity of containers of every type and size to protect both 2 and 3 dimensional objects, as well as to take account of individual transportation methods.  The Leasing Service is managed to ensure that the most suitable containers are provided exactly when required and then uplifted at the conclusion of their task.

The principal benefits are:-

The easy steps to benefiting from the KSL Leasing Service are:-

  1. 1. Place an initial enquiry on  KSL by phone/fax/email/letter to specify the requirement- at no cost or obligation to our customer

  2. 2. KSL obtains all necessary information such as type, dimensions of object(s) - as supplied by the customer or by a visit to carry out an object survey—together with ‘required by’ dates, destination, special requirements, eg hand carry, duration of loan etc—at no cost or obligation to our customer!

  3. 3. KSL provides a written quotation defining the cost of leasing one or more containers, their dimensions and weights if required—all at no cost or obligation to our customer!

  4. 4. On receipt of the customer order (instruction to proceed) confirming acceptance of the KSL quotation,  the requirements will be scheduled into our production programme and any special support documentation will be prepared to ensure strict compliance in all respects and most importantly delivery on the specified date(s).  An invoice will then be rendered to the specified recipient.

  5. 5. On completion of the loan KSL will uplift the container(s) on the date(s) specified by our customer - Peace of mind in a job well done!

 

All in all a tried, tested, utterly reliable and proven service operated for well over 20 years.

 

 

ISPM 15  THE INTERNATIONAL WOOD MARKING PROGRAMME

 

Kent Services (FC0462) is fully approved to both heat treat and supply containers that fully meet the requirements of the Wood Marking Programme.  All such cases will display the Forestry Commission official mark and therefore comply with the requirement of all countries throughout the world that are signatory to the ISPM provisions.

 

KSL delivery documentation carries all necessary related identification to ensure that our customers’ objects may be transported smoothly across international borders.
