Ultra-Lightweight 'Hand Carryable' Cases for 'small' 2 and 3-dimensional Art Objects

KSL Hi-Lite proprietary 'added value' re-usable cases have a deliberately discreet appearance and being ultra-lightweight, are supplied for purposes of hand carrying SMALL two and three-dimensional ART OBJECTS under close Courier escort in the cabins of civil aircraft, by private car or by passenger rail.

When compared to our other types and styles of hand carrying cases and to keep the cases as light as possible, the climatic and mechanical protection included as standard is kept to a minimum being directly related to the size of the cases, as well as taking into account the modes of transport stated above and the more benign conditions associated with 100% accompanied travel.

CASE CONSTRUCTION AND INSULATION

KSL Hi-Lite cases are available in a standard range of 4 sizes (see below), using lightweight panels secured into extrusions at each edge to provide an efficient assembly.

The internal surfaces of all cases have a nominal insulation lining of plastazote.

All cases are lockable, supplied with two keys, and fitted with a slim suitcase style carrying handle.

All but the smallest case, K1, are supplied with a shoulder carrying strap and have stud feet fitted to the standing edge to aid stability.

a) The internal space void can be completely filled with slabs of polyurethane.

or

b) we can fit out any case(s) with  expanded polyurethane cushioning to suit individual object(s).

c)  if additional plastazote insulation lining is required the price of this can be quoted separately in

    accordance with customer specified thicknesses up to a maximum relevant to case internal dimensions.

WARNING: 

KSL Hi-Lite cases are specifically supplied for use in carrying Art Objects when travelling by car, passenger  train or in the cabin of a passenger aircraft. 

KSL HiLite cases are not supplied nor recommended for carrying Art Objects for transportation by Air cargo/Sea freight, consignment by post or carrier or by any other method of transportation including commercial vehicles which does not allow for close Courier supervision and control at all times.

Kent Services will not accept liability for damage or consequential loss for any object(s) being carried within a KSL Hi-Lite case which does not conform to these stipulations.
