PROBLEM SOLVING, TECHNICAL SUPPORT and PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT |
Over recent years we have been increasingly called upon to provide practical cost-effective solutions to particular requirements which do not fall into the normal area of packaging design and manufacturing activities. We will continue to respond and develop this service. Every solution will therefore be unique to an individual customer’s requirements.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT The NATIONAL GALLERY have undertaken instrumented monitoring experiments based on flights from London to Sydney and return in order to determine whether paintings which are stipulated to travel parallel to the direction of flight experience any quantifiable benefit. For these experiments Kent Services were tasked with supplying two near identical containers within which the cushioning system was designed and fitted out to accommodate specified frame sizes and weights. Additionally we loaned to the National Gallery (Dr David Saunders) a SHOCKLOG monitoring device so as to enhance the collection of data on the levels of shock an vibration experienced during transportation.
